Hello! Welcome to our little slice of the Internet. I’m Kathleen Lyons, and I’m the communications and new media director here at SMA. I’m excited to bring you useful and engaging information about SCHOOL FACILITY MANAGEMENT, especially in the areas of PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, CUSTODIAL SCHEDULING, and other OPERATIONS & MANAGEMENT issues. Because that’s what we do here. We design and implement facility support solutions for school districts and educational institutions.
So we’re going to be talking about those solutions here, as well as other emerging issues in school facility management (LEED, anyone?). We’ll probably talk a little bit about leadership and management principles and maybe even sports as well, because I like those things too.
